Schools

Top Banana Cooking provides cooking clubs for primary schools in the local area. Sessions are fun, healthy and educational and use a variety of seasonal ingredients. The clubs are popular and children often rebook for several terms.  During the sessions they learn about the ingredients, develop their practical cooking skills, work as a team and create something yummy to take home. At the end of the day the children take home the goodies they have made along with a laminated recipe card.  They receive a certificate at the end of a course.

Top Banana Cooking currently runs regular cooking clubs at Chestnut Lane Infant School Amersham, Glebe School Ickenham and Holtspur School Beaconsfield.

Please contact Top Banana Cooking if you would like a cooking club in your school.

Without doubt, Top Banana Cooking Club is one of our most popular clubs at Glebe Primary School.   We have been working with Claire at Top Banana for the last 5 years and have always had really positive feedback from the children and their parents.  The club is run twice a week and often has a waiting list.  Children love cooking with Claire; showing off what they have baked at the end of the day to their friends, wafting the delicious smells through the school.   They also love the recipe cards they take home so they can practise their cooking skills with their parents.   Claire’s recipes are not only fun to make but also healthy and a wonderful mix of sweet and savoury.   Glebe would recommend Top Banana Cooking to any other school thinking of introducing a cooking club.

“My son has done several Top Banana Cooking courses at school and loved them so much! He was always so sad when they came to an end. The recipes are simple enough for him to do on his own at home and even teach to his little sister. And of course the results always taste yummy!  I would definitely recommend Top Banana Cooking!”
